Virtual Fishing

You can still be involved in the Michigan Senior Olympics during the 2021 Spring Games by joining in on the Virtual Fishing Tournament! Registrants will receive a Michigan Senior Olympics Spring Games t-shirt for completing your event. We will also be awarding 1st-3rd place medals for each age group! Take a photo of the biggest catch along a tape measure and submit your results. Include the type of fish as well!

Virtual Fishing Information

Cost: $25

Event: Take a photo of your largest fish alongside a tape measure.

What you get: An official Michigan Senior Olympics 2021 Spring Games t-shirt. You will also have your results published in the MSO Spring Games Results Book. We will also be giving out 1st-3rd place medals in each age group! ***Only one medal will be mailed even if you compete in multiple events.

Results: Submit your results and an action picture (be sure to include the type of fish)! Results upload will be made available starting in February.

Deadline to register: Register by April 21 and complete your event anytime between now and May 31st!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  1. Register through the link below. Make sure your address is correct so we can mail your t-shirt and medal. (REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN FEBRUARY)

  2. Complete your event by May 31st. Be sure to follow all local laws, fishing requirements, and social distancing protocol as well.

  3. Fishing License: As a reminder those 17 and older need a fishing license in Michigan. Licenses can also be purchased online.

  4. Submit your results and a picture. Below you can find a link to send in your results until May 31st.

**MSO Membership is not required to participate in the Virtual Events. The Michigan Senior Olympics is a non-profit organization and the membership fees are what helps keep us up and running each year.
