Sponsorship

The benefits of being a sponsor:

1. We provide a target audience of the 50+ population in the State of Michigan. Every 7 seconds someone in America turns 50. Seniors control 77% of the nation’s assets. They spend $300 billion annually in discretionary income and over $1 trillion per year in products and services. 50+ age group are responsible for over 50% of vacation travel in our country per year. According to the 2010 Michigan Census the 50+ age group are 20.9% of the population.

2. An opportunity to be involved in a State organization focused on promoting healthy lifestyles with the benefits of exercise while at the same time helping to lower the escalating health care costs.

3. Recognition throughout the year via mixed media at State games, clinics, tournaments, physical fitness, nutrition, health and wellness seminars and social events.

4. Michigan Senior Olympics is the only sanctioning site for athletes to qualify to represent the State of Michigan at the National Senior Games.

5. Michigan is also an open state which means that athletes can compete in the summer games and qualify to represent their state in the NSGA games.

6. Michigan Senior Olympics provides a sponsoring company who is conscious of health and wellness for their employees and their customers an opportunity to give something back. Internal promotions may encourage employees to participate in a fitness program and add to sponsorship dollars which increases MSO visibility and brings a larger pool of athletes. The company gains a healthier more productive workforce and a greaterappreciation in the community for their involvement.

MSO has a need for sponsors on all levels, monetary and in kind. For more information please contact:
